This Sunday, June 8th, is our "Bringing Hope to the Heart of the City" Celebration Sunday. A great deal of time and effort has gone into getting information out regarding our special ministry at Mt. Calvary. Each member family should have received a packet highlighting the Lord's blessings on our lives and on Mt. Calvary.

What stood out to me in that information was that over the course of the last five years 55 children have been baptized and 48 people have become members of Mt. Calvary, all directly as a result of the ministry of our school.

Those numbers represent PEOPLE who are the "treasures" that we store up in heaven. One day we will all gather together around the throne of the Lamb to rejoice and celebrate the gift of our salvation. That is a treasure that moth or rust could never destroy!

Please take these next 24 hours to pray your final prayers and make your final considerations regarding your "promise" of commitment for the next three years. Your gifts will go directly to providing a PLACE where PEOPLE hear and receive the gift of God's Good News Gospel. When you have made your decision, fill out the card and bring it to church on Sunday, where we will have the special opportunity to celebrate God's goodness.

Pray that Mt. Calvary would respond to God's grace in significant ways through the "Bringing Hope to the Heart of the City" campaign! Bring others to Mt. Calvary so that they will share in the certain and lasting hope of a Savior who loves us! Tell others about the good things going on at Mt. Calvary, and how the Lord has blessed you individually!
