Now that the first season of Sunday Nite Hoops (Oct. 2007 through May 2008) has finished and was a huge success, we look forward to even larger turnouts next season.  Boys and girls ages 9 to 13 came to play basketball in Mt. Calvary's gym every Sunday night during the school year.  The youth not only learned the fundamentals of basketball, sportsmanship and teamwork from skilled coaches, but were given a Bible lesson at the same time.  With a firm and loving hand, our coaches mentored the youth with discipline and positive character traits.  All sessions were free and open to all youth in the neighborhood.  Just one of many ways that Mt. Calvary is Bringing Hope to the Heart of the City.  Check back in September for next season's start.
