A friend of ours recently got a portable GPS system for his car. It is amazing how the little device will tell you the name of the street where you have to turn, how far it is to your destination, and even your estimated time of arrival. One really great feature helps you out if you get lost. Push a button, and it will direct you all the way to your own front door!

A quick search on the internet will take you to reviews of these handy little devices. Some of the reviewers will tell you that even GPS systems can have their problems. They may send you on a route that takes you "out of the way." Sometimes they have trouble picking up a satellite signal. Other times, their software simply fails.

Sounds a lot like the life of a sinful Christian. We know "the way" of the Christian life, but far too often we get "off track" because of our sinfulness and selfishness. It is then that we need Jesus to "bring us home." He does that through His Word. He tells us that He is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. He will tell you, again, this Sunday. Come to church and hear those comforting words.

Pray that that every member of our church would know and follow Jesus as The Way, the Turth, and The Life! Bring others to Mt. Calvary so that they, too, will know The Way! Tell others about Him who has shown YOU the Way!
